I am planning to conduct a speed test of different systems, including Author and the Visual-Meta.
This is a test to measure mechanical speed between different ways of citing books and academic documents, not research speed, creativity or research skills. Users will have time to go through all the tasks with organiser to make sure there are no misunderstandings, and will then perform the tasks with a timer, where they will be video and audio recorded while performing the task. Systems tested should include Mendeley, Zotero, EndNote and Liquid | Author, all on macOS. Citations and References will not be checked during the timing.
