High Resolution Addressing

Allows the user to link to a specific section of a document, not just the document itself. This makes augmented copying possible.

This refers to the importance of being able to point to something specific in order to enable more refined knowledge work. You cannot point to something which cannot be addressed. Different kinds of addressing have different attributes but whereas in a paper book one could cite a specific page, in a digital book this is no longer possible because of intellectual property ownership of the publisher. Web pages can have high resolution addressing but do not have this by default, so that is why we are developing a plugin to enable this.
